This scrub has been a life saver to my sensitive, adult acne-prone skin. It says to use it 2 or 3 times a week but I use it every night leaving it on my face for up to 5 minutes and I've had the clearest skin of my life. I bought this because I have a mild case of rosacea. I thought I'd be able to use it as a mask, but it really is just an exfoliating scrub. Seems gentle enough, is organic, but it isn't very pretty--looks like tar. After I use it, I apply the SBR hydrator for sensitive skin (which I love) and the BioScience Peptide serum, and then the moisturizer/serum. I hope using the product line makes my mild rosacea disappear. COMMENT FROM US: Thanks for your review Tootsie, but we want to assure you that you can indeed use the product as a mask. No, it will not dry like a clay mask, but the black macuna honey has some amazing drawing power and the paypaya enzymatic action does a great job of eradicating deep cellular debris. Scrubs and masks have always made my rosacea flare up. Nevertheless I would continue to try new ones and regret it. This mask/scrub is different. First of all it takes very little of the product to be effective . It never burns my skin or makes it feel dry or red. After I use it my skin is super soft. Purchased this for my daughter. She started out using the cleanser for sensitive/rosacea/acne skin and had no problems with it so we decided to try this product, the hydrator and the serum. She has been using these products for about two weeks and so far so good. She uses this exfoliator twice a week for about 5-10 minutes.
