It can be prone to blackheads or whiteheads or excess sebum production. This formula is identical to our Normal Honey & Papaya Exfoliation mask, but without the walnut shell scrubbing beads. Sensitive skin often reacts to mechanical abrasion, but the Papaya & Honey in this formula eliminates dead skin cells quite well, allowing skin to ‘breathe’ and accelerating cellular turnover.

HOW TO USE:

For Use as a Mask: (2-3X times per week)

1. Cleanse face.
2. Apply exfoliator in a thin layer.
3. Leave on skin for at least 5 minutes (may leave for up to 1 hour).
4. Some tingling is normal and is a result of drawing action of debris from pores. If tingling persists or intensifies remove product.
5. After desired exfoliation time, rinse well with warm water and pat dry.

  

For Use as Exfoliating Scrub: (may be used up to 1X per day):

1. Cleanse face.
2. Apply a small amount of exfoliator to damp washcloth and gently work in circles on skin, concentrating on problem areas.
3. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry.

 

Follow treatment with Pitta Dosha-based SBR Hydrator, BioScience Peptide Complex, and SBR Serum.

    I bought this because I have a mild case of rosacea. I thought I'd be able to use it as a mask, but it really is just an exfoliating scrub. Seems gentle enough, is organic, but it isn't very pretty--looks like tar. After I use it, I apply the SBR hydrator for sensitive skin (which I love) and the BioScience Peptide serum, and then the moisturizer/serum. I hope using the product line makes my mild rosacea disappear. COMMENT FROM US: Thanks for your review Tootsie, but we want to assure you that you can indeed use the product as a mask. No, it will not dry like a clay mask, but the black macuna honey has some amazing drawing power and the paypaya enzymatic action does a great job of eradicating deep cellular debris.     Scrubs and masks have always made my rosacea flare up. Nevertheless I would continue to try new ones and regret it. This mask/scrub is different. First of all it takes very little of the product to be effective . It never burns my skin or makes it feel dry or red. After I use it my skin is super soft.     Purchased this for my daughter. She started out using the cleanser for sensitive/rosacea/acne skin and had no problems with it so we decided to try this product, the hydrator and the serum. She has been using these products for about two weeks and so far so good. She uses this exfoliator twice a week for about 5-10 minutes.
