Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia, formerly L. officinalis) is probably the world’s favorite essential oil, known for its intoxicating luxurious scent and proven healing benefits. The essential oil is extracted from hand harvested flowers of the beautiful lavender fields that blooms in the summer season of the USA.  Historically, it has been used as an antiseptic in the First World War, and was also used as an important perfume ingredient, and beauty oil by Victorian women,  and even Queen Elizabeth herself.

Lavender oil provides a spa-like effect to both skin and hair. The antibacterial plant active in Lavender kills acne producing bacteria, and clears blocked pores.
